For HGK Base Archive with Jinsu Ahn
This archive is based on my mom’s mignon perfumes collection. When I was a kid my mom gave me a part of her collection of mini perfumes. I still have them and when I was young I used to consider them very precious and rare, a sort of secret between me and my mom. Of course the reality was different and my mom herself did not care about them a lot and she doesn’t even have her collection anymore.
In this archive, the double perception about the perfumes is still the main element. In the pictures, the mignon perfumes are portrayed like real perfumes and the border between cheap and luxury is never completely clear.
